The benefits and the cultural significance of the project are:
- Assisting in the decisions to be made for raising bilingual/multilingual children in order to maintain and develop the language/s spoken at home in conjunction with the strategies offered by some experts in the field.
- Developing a sense of identity and belonging living in the wider multicultural society.
- Understanding and respecting other cultures’ languages, beliefs and their way of living by developing activities and platforms that provide experiences of cultural exchange.
- Raising awareness to the wider and minority communities that the maintenance and development of
languages and cultural elements have benefits to the society and should be seen as enrichment. - Educating the parents in raising bilingual/multilingual children.
